Of course you cannot cite a single statement made by the Leave campaign and demonstrate it to be a lie. To be clear, I mean one statement cited verbatim, attributed to the Leave campaign and shown to a lie; 'a lie' being a knowingly false statement made with intent to deceive. Seriously, don't bother, because I know you cannot do it.. would you like me to show you some of the lies stated by the Remain campaign?

John Major?...now we're talking, one of the worst UK prime Ministers ever along with Gordon Brown and Teressa May. His disastrous 'Black Wednesday' resulting in Britain's exit from the ERM almost made the UK bankrupt, had no economic credibility. The word 'sleaze' was coined of his government and became ever synonymous with Major. He refused to give the UK electorate a referendum on the so-called Maastricht Treaty, no vote, no public consultation, no questions asked then started shipping billions to Brussels no questions asked. A figure of ridicule, a spitting image character of him and his tawdry affair with Edwina Currie, the UK public doesn't need any lessons from this clown.

The Treaty of Accession was signed in January 1972 by prime minister Edward Heath, leader of the Conservative Party. In her earlier years, Thatcher was very keen on the then EEC. She later negotiated a reduction in the UK contribution, notably due to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Founder countries, like France, with large agricultural industries, received subsidies and support for supporting farmers. We were told that, after Brexit, the equivalent to CAP would continue to be paid, in fact farmers' subsidies have fallen each year, and farming is in a bad way.
