I had the pleasure of working with Coach Gryska at the Bryant Museum during my freshman year on campus in 1998. He will be missed. RTR.

In January of '93 I was in B'ham for a sales meeting with a friend of mine and we had time to kill. Both of us were big BAMA fans so we took off to see the Bryant Museum. We were greeted by Coach Gryska. He told us they had videos of past games...he asked what we'd like to see...at the spur of the moment I said how 'bout '71 USC...he said "great choice, son". We watched the video and were on our way...what a great chance to meet Coach...he was very nice to us and a true gentleman.

God speed Coach Gryska. You were as much a part of Alabama football as houndstooth hats and championships of all kind. Rest in peace Coach.

I've been to the museum many times and for the world I cannot remember who the man is that is outside greeting people when they come in. I know he was a coach at Alabama but can't remember his name. He is there almost every time I go thru the doors to go in. Is this the same man or is it someone else??

What color were Bama's helmets in these clips? Black?
