It was announced last night that Dame Deborah James, an inspirational podcaster and cancer campaigner, died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 40. In a final message to her followers, her family posted: "Find a life worth enjoying; take risks; love deeply; have no regrets; and always, always have rebellious hope. And finally, check your poo - it could just save your life." We’ll be paying tribute, and asking how bowel aware are you - and of course, mentioning Lorraine’s No Butts campaign. After Deborah’s tireless campaign, Jane was inspired to send her poo off for checks (also considering that her Dad also passed away from bowel cancer), and after Kelle’s illness, she feels that it’s more important than ever to live in the moment.
From series 26, broadcast on 29/06/22
