What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man, & musician. Thank you for posting this. His voice is still my all-time favorite... R.I.P. John Wetton. You are deeply missed in my music world.
So sorry it is over. But we all have to learn that our time on earth is not unendless. He was my hero! And I am sad to realize that John fianally found his time. A very sad day in my life

He was my hero, too. I'm devastated by his death, but believe he still exists in another world, separated from us, and one day we're gonna see him again. I follow Christian faith and I suppose he did, too.

Still don't have words to express the loss of such a great man. He was a Hero to many of us progressives in that the music came 1st. And we followed his lead. The gentleman was looked up to by all. Miss ya buddie. Miss ya bad.

Can I be completely Honest here. In 1982, i was a junior in high school and was in the back of a pickup truck of one of my teammates, heading to our baseball practice when i first heard the song Heat of the Moment. My buddy had the best stereo in his car and in those days, you could go as loud as you wanted. It was one of those rare moments when you hear a song and you just absolutely love it and i remember like it was yesterday, the feeling i had, the magic in the voice of John Wetton, it was like nothing i ever heard before. His voice was ASTOUND and he had so much magic in the way he sang a song. Its hard to describe, but ASIA meant a lot to me as a young man and they always will. When I heard that John passed, I was devastated. And then i felt stupid b/c it was a year later that i found out. Nevertheless, Mr. Wetton, you made myself and a lot of my friends happy in the 80's and we will never ever forget you !! you are a Talent that only comes along a few times in a lifetime... God Bless You.

Listen to Asia's Valkyrie. JW really envisioned his own passing in that song, 2.5 years, before it actually happened! I followed JW from Sept 3,1973, the day I purchased King Crimson's Lark's Tongues through after his passing, today and beyond!

It was circa september 2016, during one of his numerous stays in hospitals. To me, he was not as bad, losing weight made him look quite nice. He looked much-much worse at his Christmas photo with wife, which turned out to be his last photo in Twitter.

Thank you. The tune is called 'The voice of love'. It's from the Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me (1992) OST. I thought the melody was very beautiful and sad and it made me think of John, about the loss of him.
