Remembering Ripple Rock is a collection of interviews with local residents of Campbell River reflecting on the destruction of ht notorious marine hazard Ripple Rock on April 5, 1958. This film was produced through a partnership between CRTV and the Museum at Campbell River. Interwoven into the memories is an archival CBC footage of the event. The film is an interesting mix of local recollection, alongside national television coverage, the first such live coverage of a national event in CBC history.
This film was produced by the Museum at Campbell River in 2008 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the destruction of Ripple Rock.
