This digitised cine film was taken during the 1960s and shows a family heading to Tenby in South Wales for their camping holiday. This particular family are also featured in other cine films which will be shown in the coming weeks. But they also have a boat which is towed by their Vauxhall car. The video shows the Vauxhall and the coastline along with Tenby with people on the road as "our" car travels through the town. A few cars of the era are shown parked up and driving along. Tenby Railway Station is shown along with a Ford (Zephyr or Consul?) being loaded with suitcases. Views of the coastline with boats moored followed by a trip on a motor boat with a fishing line astern - no doubt hoping for their tea! The campsite with the tents and cars parked up. Another trip on the boat, circles a motor cruiser moored called "Cadvah".
Anyone else visit Tenby - a place I have always wanted to visit - maybe now and film a sequel to see how the place has changed.
