Hi---I am hoping you can give me the instructions on how to remove the screws on the dial without breaking them off or stripping them. I would appreciate hearing what method you use to do this or if anyone else has the instructions for this. The gauge is leaking just a tiny bit and I need to replace the gasket. Thanks to everyone for your help. Jesus bless.

Does it matter which direction the gauge is mounted? For example rotated 180 dedrees?

Yes, dial orientation does matter. Set the new dial in place first to verify correct level, especially if it's a press in model that's siliconed to the tank.

How are you supposed to see if the flash when is covered with the lid? Am I missing something lol.

I think ya did, the flashing unit he installed was connected to the lift point on the side of the tank (later in the video).

Here's a question I have yet to see addressed, can you shine some light on this? I'll be replacing a horizontal LP tank in a class C moho and I removed the gauge, of course. I do not see how this actually transmits LP level from the tank...it was just a clip-on. Meanwhile, the coach has a monitor board that will depend on this gauge. What can I expect when I hook this back up? I see the devices you talked about here and they do not have a real physical connection inside the tank. How do these work, and is it possible my clip-on gauge works the same way? Many thanks.

I think it uses magnets to rotate the guage through the metal and the clip on sensor is that of a hall effect sensor.

Cheap gauges. Two screws only. Or you can glue them in. Some use gps .

LP is leaking around the threads of my gauge. I tried removing the gauge and the float fell off in the tank any Idea where to get the inside tank gauge?

@@vaspar9871 oh ok mine is 250 gallon tank to my house and I didn't wanna give the gas people $200 to loosen a bolt put Teflon tape on it then tighten back. I might could just tighten it a little and it stop leaking but I don't wanna make it worst with 40% in it($500)
