Yup, I think we all have had the pops and clicks. For me it was too much use of memory of the PC and it was easily adjusted once I had figured out what the cause was. The app seems like a great solution!

O yeah, the pops and clicks when your CPU is drained out. I know that one too. Awful when that happens!

Thanks for sharing David! I usually get these clicks when I change abruptly a dynamic

Karl also mentioned dynamic transitions as possible cause. Interesting. What do you mean with “change abruptly a dynamic”. I used a hairpin on the flute passage, but a smooth one.

You're welcome :) RX Elements is awesome and cheap now with the BF deal. Hope you'll enjoy it!

Thanks for a great video! I haven’t thought of using RX to fix this issue, but will certainly give it a try. However, in the case of the StaffPad libraries, I don’t think the pops are present in the samples themselves but rather result from poorly implemented dynamic transitions. I never hear any pops unless I touch the dynamics.

That’s an interesting thought Karl! I used a hairpin for this specific flute passage. So that could be the cause, but then again I don’t have it at other moments with the same dynamic transitions. I also thought about volume, making the audio clipping in StaffPad. But I ruled that out I guess, cause I lowered the master volume. Further investigation needed, but also glad RX Elements saved me again this time :)

Talking about pops and clicks.Just last night I was trying out one of my librarys and I was getting that on every note every preset.I wrote back to the composer that wrote the VST to see what he can do to rectify the problem.I have RX I don't know if I have RX de-click.

Awful when that happens! Did you find a solution with the developer? You should have RX de-click if you RX. It's part of it.

Hallo!! First of all, congratulations for the second place winner in Score Relief competition!! Your score was amazing!! Second, thank you so much for sharing the knowledge of RX Elements existing!! I have the same issue with two patches of Chamber Strings library from Spitfire..!! As you mentioned, it is unacceptable..especially for a highly priced library such as Chamber Strings and a professional company as Spitfire.. i would like to ask you,from your experience,have you found this problem in more than one library? is it common? i have email to spitfire,waiting for their response..but i bought RX Elements today as it is in a big sale!!! EVERYTHING DISAPPEARED!!!

Great to hear Paul that RX Elements saved another day. Sadly, yes ... there are more libs on the market with noise in it. Think about feet, coughs ... and lately there was a thread on Facebook about a library in which you can hear someone do a count down in the background !lol! So it happens more. About your congratulations on the Score Relief competition, that wasn't me. I guess more people like the name, but mine is with a zero and a three in it 😉

@@gh0stwrit3r i apologise for my mistake..i will give you the right congratulations this time for your excellent videos with so nice informations..this time i wont be mistaken, i am sure it is you! :)) i would like to ask you,if you have the kindness, how you handle the rx elements plugin in logic..do you put it straight to the track that have the problematic region,you make a bus with it or you put it in the master channel? thank you so much for your help!!
@gh0stwrit3r

!lol! Thanks 😊 Because RX can be CPU heavy I use it on my master bus. Another thing you could do (for more precise audio cleaning), run separate audio STEMS through the RX Elements stand-alone app. It’s pretty awesome what you can do within that environment.

@@gh0stwrit3r yes, it is (super i would say) heavy..i have a powerful macbook pro (2019) but the plugin create a strange effect in my logic..when i press start or stop to playback it has a noticeable delay to start or to stop..moreover, it gave me latency even in 1024 buffer size!! does it happen to you also?
@gh0stwrit3r

@@paulmorfis8101 Yes, it does. I guess the plugin is looking ahead (scanning and cleaning audio) causing a delay. I personally don't mind, cause it is the last thing I do in my master chain.
