Thank you. Very informative real time instructional video. Bonus reminder about knot tying,,,,down the hole around the tree and back into the hole!

It looks really good at the end. What a nasty job, huh? My chimney had a metal liner put in about 28 years ago. Somehow, it stays clean. Still have to clean the smoke chamber & cap, but you might consider a liner for yours. Extremely helpful video. Thanks again.

Thank you. Thus is what i have been looking for. Mine looks exactly like yours does at the sides, behind and above the damper, front and rear. In other words, the entire smoke chamber. Wire brush barely scratches the surface. Going after it with a wirewheel & some extensions on a drill next. I used EASY OFF Oven Cleaner on the cap, which was pretty well caked up & well on it's way to becoming completely clogged. The oven cleaner took 3 passes with about 4 hours soak time after each. Still did a fair amount of scrubbing, which a 4th pass with the oven cleaner likely would have eliminated.

Great job! The best and easiest way to use Cre-Away is to clean the chimney first so the soot isn’t covering the creosote the Cre-Away is trying to attack. After about 5-6 fires clean the chimney again. Continue using the whole bottle and continue buying Cre-Away and use it for every fire forever. Clean the chimney twice a year.👍🏻👍🏻

Nice job. But was wondering how the top of the chimney did. How much of the glazed stuff came clean?
