We are not really out of sync with the rest of the world, Aus never raised interest rates as much as the rest of the world. We are at 4.35%, the US cut from 5.5% to 5% and the US inflation rate is much lower than ours. Our CPI is still around 4%, not sub 3% like in the US. And Aus CPI rate is being artifically lowered by temporary energy relief subsidies.... How could the RBA possibly be justified in cutting at the moment?

Good portfolio man. For someone like you who has a heavy interest in investing, the discipline not to be too active is impressive.

1. You will pay plenty of brokerage fee every fortnight when buying those ETFs > COST 2. During tax time, it's a nightmare to do fill all that tax forms > need an accountant > COST

Why would you do your own tax?! Find a great accountant and get more in value than it costs, in both time and money

Bryce - what has been your portfolio return with your current share portfolio (net of fees), have you 'beaten' the index/market?

For me, that portfolio is far to complicated. Core could just be DHHF, one fund, one fee. Ditch the cyber security and chip and get NDQ. Anyways, i have no doubt ppl would say mine sucks haha each to their own
