Sam Tompkins is a singer-songwriter whom Ren met while busking in Brighton in 2013, when Sam was 16 and Ren was 23. They used to do a lot of busking together and released the songs "Blind Eyed", "What Went Wrong", and "What Went Wrong II". They haven't done anything together since Sam was signed to a label a couple years ago. Samuel Perry-Falvey is a director and cinematographer whom Ren met at Unicorn Voice Camp in 2013, when Samuel was 16-17. They co-direct many of Ren's videos. Samuel is sometimes also the camera operator. The first video that they created together was for Ren's song "Children of the Moon", back in 2015, though it wasn't released until 2018.

They’re preforming on a public street that is where people are supposed to be walking.

Funny what people notice - are towns are small so those ladies had to be rude by walking past, while you highlighted that I saw a number of kids go and sit right in-front of them because it was so good. Strange what people learn or notice from footage. Re-watch. Remember this is a country with 70m people and is the size of Idaho. We are very cramped, what I saw was several kids going up and sitting directly in front of them, the others walking in the background are mums and dads out shopping in Brighton, they don't wanna ruin his shots they just parked their cars up the road 😂

I agree about the people walking behind them. I understand that it's a public walkway, and they're within their rights, but personally I would have used the walkway on the other side of the road. Yes, it would inconvenience me a little bit to have to walk around, but I wouldn't be making a spectacle of myself, and I wouldn't be ruining the show for the audience.

I think if you see other angles of this session, the whole other side of the street was filled with the audience! 🙂

@@philk9227 There was a clear path in front of The Ivy, on the other side of Ship Street. You can see people walking there at the end of the video. Coming from Duke Street, you'd just have to walk around the crowd. Once past The Ivy you could cross back to other side of the street.

@@eryksun I shall defer to your greater knowledge of the area my friend. So much can be misinterpreted simply from phone camera footage and no local knowledge. I stand corrected 👍

I"m like you. I hate it. I guess because I feel it's so good and it just seems disrespectful to me. Maybe that isn't how it's intended. I guess it is a me thing, not a them thing.

In fairness they were just busking in the street and people need to get places. And the crowd was filling the rest of the street.
