Those genuine authentic acoustic instruments?? That's precisely the sound we need to hear these days, plus the tremendous restraint that the drummer has used...he must have been absolutely itching to play something more...but didn't... this composition was something else altogether. Luc Ponty has done several versions of this later on, but nothing that matches this rendition in tonal quality...simply makes your hair stand on end

....when he comes out with these acoustic pieces?..this is what just plain just thrills me..Electronic stuff can be accentuated by mediocre musicians...the real great stuff is where you hit the acoustic notes so that they hurt....and they hurt so beautifully. Leave you with a memory

Given there's a guitar solo 3/4 into this recording, I'd say it's a safe bet that's Daryl plucking the strings, n'est ce pas?
