Had one back in ‘96, same colour and year. Had so much fun in it. Kept it totally standard.

Nice job on the carb, makes all difference indeed, changed injectors on my R19 16v (Ph2) turbo setup nearly 2 years ago and it ran so much better then before and what I hoped for so I know that feeling you had on that moment 🙂

@@TABonTV 😂. My method was always the same. Pump the accelerator, choke 8/10ths out. Christ, I’ve become that guy at the bar. ‘ biggest regret of my life selling that 5..’ *swigs drink.*

Nice video! What is that aluminum elbow connection on top of the carburetor? It is not stock. Why did you change that part aftermarket? Thanks

Thanks! Yeah, not stock. Original elbow is plastic and the turbo hose can come off under boost.

@@TABonTV thanks for the quick response. Appreciated. I have been looking for a guide or list of most immediate improvements or upgrades for a Reanult 5 GT turbo unsuccessfully. A guide to improve reliability and add a little bit of power in a reversible manner (to original). Mine is stock but for example I would like to avoid the risk of overheating during summer and improve starting the engine. Shaving a second from the 0-100 kph in would be more than enough.
