On a whim I thought I’d look for a tutorial for this song. I was shocked to find your video for such an obscure song (only UK fans would be familiar with this). Thank you so much! I am a novice piano player but am going to try to learn . Great tutorial!

Overall I think you have taken on a heroic task. For your consideration: To my ears, from the [Intro] I hear the fourth chord of the arpeggiated sequence as Eb minor (or D# minor , ie. without a 7th interval). also I think it worth mentioning to viewers that figure is in 7/8 time the pick-up leading into the verse, I hear the line being a triad of Eb major as in Eb, G natural, Bb resolving to B natural (or C flat for sticklers) on the Instrumental Bridge some may want to simplify the progression as basically cycling Ab minor(add 9) Bb minor(add 9) D minor (add9) F minor (add 9) the time signature seems to be 10/8 or maybe 3+3+4/8 but I found it made more sense as 3+3+2+2/8. Again. I think you have helped some people with this amazing tune.

Really shows the inventive mind of Eddie Jobson. The song has many resolutions but suddenly takes the listener another direction and yet another before resolving again. Nice tutorial!

Just downloaded Eddie Jobson's own transcription from www.zealotslounge.com. The fourth chord is a straight Ebmin, not Ebmin7 (no Db). Also the first three-note pickup of the melody is Eb G Bb with Bb Eb and G in the left hand. Otherwise pretty close.

Can you send me the sheet in pdf?

You're not Eddie Jobson (only Don Airey and Jordan Rudess could make that claim) but your ears are working fine. Good transcription!

Please do a vocal cover of Beowolf, with a split screen of you playing hand drums.

Thanks, I have a Kurzweil SP88X that's about 14 years old. I love the sound but it's going to cost me almost the price I paid for it for repairs. Been looking for something else with a nice grand piano sound. You are right about the sound getting stale, has to be a bane of being a musician & why we embrace newer instruments! The UK piece here sounds great on the Yamaha!! Also, thanks for sharing the tutorial, you have excellent ears! Eddie was going to publish transcriptions but he ran into issues with the cost. I think I remember that's what he told me when I met him last year. The UK music is very tricky as you pointed out!
