This Bill really exposes the Constitutional Conservatives that do NOT understand the fundamentals of freedom. Someone(s) is going to make a lot of money with this Bill.

I wouldn't advise messing with TikTok unless you want the younger generations to actually start paying attention to the real criminals running the show.

Protecting free speech and platform market access- good and necessary. Allowing enemy state entities access to people's data/ personal information and other spying or subversive influence- bad, obviously. It's a messy situation dealing with this kind of stuff, and there's no clean cut solution.

Thank you Rep Massie for opposing on principle. I am not automatically against this bill but I do have two reservations. Under this bill, the POTUS has the super authority to decide which platforms are owned by an adversary nation and then the only venue to challenge that ruling is the DC courts which is entirely Democrat and the jury pool is 95% Democrat. Now that I see who is voting for it, including Gallagher, a RINO who has already decided to quit Congress when the R majority is too slim as it is, that made me feel more nervous about this bill. I don't think that any platform that shows up and offers The People a place to microblog and share info must be allowed to operate here UNTIL Sec 230 is modified so it spells out explicitly that it ALLOWS and PROTECTS FROM CENSORSHIP BY ANYONE the speech of the END USERS, of The People, not of the platforms themselves (which protection of they do not need, they have the right to say whatever on their own company platform!). I'm amazed that none of you are focusing on that glaring omission. Speaker Emeritus Pelosi **spit** my brown patooty. God help us.

I just get nervous when both parties agree on something. This is one of those matters that prove the majority of both parties don't understand the Bill of Rights.

If Congress is wanting to do this to tick tock then they need to do the same thing to other software and chip makers that give back doors access to Microsoft, apple, android software, and chip manufacturers

Cheese and rice! We have massive inflation, no southern border, no law enforcement, trying to start WWIII, junkies everywhere, children being mutilated by the state, record level of slavery, massive surveillance state and our congress is worried about fucking tik tok? I need a beer.

Mr. Massie. Both sides see a different movie. They claim completely opposite things. Normally I would be neutral but I trust your judgement.
