I swear by boroline. I have been using it on my lips and it has been working great but I was skeptical to use it on face because I have sort of oily and acne prone skin. My skin barrier was severely damaged because I had hopped on to the skin care trends ( the products were not bad ) but I used to many too quickly. And that freaked my skin out. I got a lot of PIE, PIH, comedonal acne and even a few cysts after my skin had been almost clear for a year because of my basic consistent routine. Over all this havoc, I used epiduo to treat it. It made it even worse and dehydrated. After watching this video, I decided to go back to my old routine and use boroline at night to repair my skin. It is only day 3 and I see such a drastic difference. My skin is softer, hydration has improved, PIE reduced, and to my surprise it is even working on my active pimples, which I have a few. With this I did use niacinamide + HA serum in the morning. Thank you so much for your suggestion!❤️ Edit: I have used only the niacinamide + HA with my basic skin care before. But I did not see much difference after using it for 4-5 days. I know it takes more time than that. But after I incorporated boroline, I see results.

Hi, I absolutely love coconut oil for my body and hair. My scalp and body tends to get really dry and flakey so applying coconut oils really does helps! It's a savoir. 💛 Having said that, coconut oil is not really recommended for acne-prone skin on the face. Not trying to say coconut oil is a devil as a lot of people make it out to be but definitely coconut oil is just not the oil made for acne prone skin (for the face). It's great for body and hair though! 😊

Agreed about coconut oil and olive ol. Heidi, here is a surprising divet of info that I have gathered from some of my customers-- they attribute NOT having any acne to the use of coconut oil. Which kinda makes sense since it helps maintain the lipid barrier as well. Its def not recommended in fungal acne as that yeast feeds off fatty alcohols present in coconut oil. Do you add something additional to the coconut oil you use? Some of my customers add hibiscus, curry leaves, nutmeg...and so many many botanicals esp in kerala. Look to hearing from you...I love these nuggets of Indian skincare which I believe is just incredible in its wealth of goodness.
