This video will guide you through the process of repairing a washroom single hole lavatory faucet that is leaking by replacing the faucet cartridge.
The lavatory faucet featured in this video is an 'Aquabrass' model "ZOON" single hole lever handle faucet.
The repair is quite simple and only requires an adjustable (crescent) wrench and Allen Key (3/32" in my case) and a sharp knife or flat head screwdriver.
First you will need to shut off your faucet isolation valves under the sink, if you have them, otherwise you will need to shut off main water supply.
You will then remove the faucet lever handle (using an allen key - mine was 3/32") and then remove the handle and remove the broken cartridge and any broken pieces that remain inside.
You will need to order or purchase new cartridge from the faucet manufacturer (or manufacturer rep), making sure you get the correct model/size that matches your specific faucet.
After replacing the cartridge and reinstalling lever handle onto the faucet body your washroom faucet will function normally again for years to come.
Good Luck with your repair.
