@@Mikeattempts I found the wires for the cup safety switch had come loose from someone jerking on the torch. Hooked the wires back up and it cuts like a hot knife through butter.

bought a 375 spectrum w/ ICE-27c from a pawn shop but no workee. The cutter powers up and the air works; but as soon as i pull the trigger, the power light starts blinking. Double checked the wiring according to printed schematic found under the cover, looks good. To weed out a weak power switch, I hard wired the main power switch, and used 2 fuses to act as the voltage supply switch (115vac or 230vac). Then when I pulled the trigger, both 20amp fuses blow. I haven't tried powering the unit in the 230vac configuration. Idk... if the cost for getting my plasma cutter repaired exceeds the cost of a new harbor freight plasma cutter, Im trashing the miller. :( I hate to support china via HF):

The Power light blinks when you pull the trigger, not one of the other "trouble lights" for Pressure, Cup, and Temp? Did you take apart the torch tip to make sure the pieces are in good shape and installed in the correct position? I'm no pro but, if you've done all of that, it kinda sounds like an electrical issue. If it is electrical though, it must not be a short since it didn't trip your breaker the first time you tried it out.

Hahaha yeah, since I had never used a plasma cutter before, I was instinctively pressing down like I though the extra force would help the cut. :) Once logic kicked in, it went much more smooth. I still need a lot more practice though. Thanks for watching!

Hello, excellent your video, a query when you release the cut button how many seconds you have left the air coming out through the torch. Thank you

The manual says 20-30 seconds. Thanks for watching!

If you maintain a 1/8 inch stand off between the torch nozzle and the material, you will obtain better cuts and extend the consumable life considerably.

Thanks for the tip. I looked for one of those standoff tips but I don't think they make one for my torch. I'll attempt to maintain the gap freehand but I'm gonna need some more practice. :)

I'm not sure. On my torch, there's nothing below the swirl ring, it just sits down inside the torch head.

I need help with my plasma cutter. I would appreciate any information on how to fix It. I forgot to show that I have a air gauge on the back at 60 PSI. kzitem.info/news/bejne/rpB8s5mJnHaWpIo

I've gotta start by saying I'm no pro. This video was the first time I ever fixed or even used a plasma cutter. That being said, it sounds like you're either getting sporadic air pressure or an inconsistent flow of electricity. If you hold your hand way out in front of the arc, can you feel a constant stream of air? There are a few different pieces at the tip of the torch. I would just take it apart and make sure you have all of the pieces in the right order and correct orientation.
