This sitting wall that surrounds the in-ground pool normally has lights mounted on the corner pillars. But, over the years, the homeowner has noticed that some of the blocks that make up the corners have cracked and become lose.
My task is to attempt to replace the broken blocks. The original wall was installed 15-plus years ago so we were not able to match the color exactly but the homeowner was satisfied with this new block color.
The original installer filled the blocks that had the electrical conduit in it with mortar. And as with time, the mortar failed and caused the blocks to crack.
