To he’s the fuel inlet hose great job explaining the connectors, I was mainly watching for what the headline says and you never ever remove the pump

I just dropped the fuel tank on my 2005 GMC Yukon. Good video. Was helpful. Luckily I didn't have as many connectors as u did on ur Suburban. This isn't an XL. More like a Tahoe. Easy peasy! Thx again. Saved big BUCKS!

So, I thought I had a critique because as I disconnected the line from the inlet to the tank, the tank started to drop, but after rewatching the video I noticed that it dropped on mine because I apparently don't have a rear strap any longer. Thank you for the video, it has been super helpful

Is the fuel pump the same part number for a 2006 GMC Yukon 5.3 non flex fuel. I seen some pump modules with 3 tubes on top of fuel pump and some With 2.

Love your detailed videos. Thanks for showing. Question, I have the same carbon bits problem at my purge solenoid. Which line at the fuel tank runs back to the purge solenoid do I need to plow out with compressed air?

Hard for me to describe but I would trace the line from the purge solenoid down and to the fuel pump to ensure you have the right one.

What did you end up doing to make the tank lighter? I need to pull mine out this week.

Got in my 2005 suburban and started it. Put it into gear and pressed on the accelerator and there was no resistance and no acceleration at all. Turned the engine off and back on and it worked fine. Any experience with this ?

I'm having similar intermittent starting problems and it will suddenly start sputtering and running rough while driving. I'm replacing fuel pump tonight. Hopefully that fixes it.
