A few years late but I discovered your videos and have been binge watching them. I have been working on my own drysuits for years but I picked up some good tips from your videos! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for this beautiful and useful video; I have a question about the glue used, is it good for adhesion and waterproofing?

Have you ever did a scubapro evertech??? I think the collar on those is sewed and glued??

Probably did. Sewn or glued - It doesn’t really matter. I’m removing the old one carefully to make sure nothing else is hold by those stitches and the suit will not fall apart. After that the new seal attachment is the same

I’ve just ordered one of the neck seal systems. On a lot of the forums people say to use Bostik 2402 glue which I have to order from the uk. I live in Australia and I will be putting this system on a Waterproof D9 dry suit. I have watched most of your videos which are amazing and would appreciate your opinion before I order anything

Thanks Mark, appreciate it! The glue is the most crucial part. I'm using Rema Tip Top SC4000 with hardener, made in Germany and very satisfied with this glue. It behaves perfectly in places exposed to the sea water, it doesn't absorb it and does not get swollen. I've heard a good things about Bostic, but personally I have zero experience with it. I suppose that working with this glue would be the same as working with Rema Tip Top (both are contact glues) Rema TipTop can be found in Australia, also I see that these online shop has the glue I use: www.blackwoods.com.au/part/03623064/kit-rubber-adhesive-rema-sc4000-700g. Although no hardener in the picture, probably you could give them a call to find that out

Dry Suits Projects thank you so much for yr advice. I would like to use the same glue as you’ve had a lot of experience with it. I will most definitely give backwoods a ring tomorrow. I will keep you posted

Bostik 3206E would be better.

Hi... question.. I've had this thought that sc4000 don't work with plastics? Yet all those rings, like you said seems to hold perfectly. 😮 Also what do you think, would aquasure glue work for gluing rings on trilaminate suit
