I have been watching your videos for a few years as a guide in restoring Dads 63. Your phrase " here we go" has become an inspirational mantra for me. But the reality has set in that I need to sell it. I am not asking you to buy it. What I need is to determine its value. Is there an internet source where I can see 1963 c 10 trucks that have not been completely restored so I can some idea of its value? Thanks

Its a process. Takes patience and time. This Gibson Channel is awesome. In many ways 👍 I am looking at this and mine has the metal around the glass. Interesting. 🤷 1963 Thing?

If you have the metal around the glass it takes a wider felt for the channel

@vm722 It was an Order Option to have the windows with the Stainless Steel Trim around the glass, mostly you will see that Stainless Steel Trim on GMC Truck's & C30's & up Truck's, but some Original Owners or the Dealerships ordered the Stainless Steel Trim on the Chevy C10's-C20's. It's cool looking... If you dig into the "67-72 Chevrolet Truck Forum" you will find Copies of the Original Chevrolet & GMC Pickup Truck "Dealership Order Form's or RPO's" and you will see what the different Dealership Order Number's were back in 1963 for our C10's, many different parts were offered to the Original Owners. Lot's of cool stuff to read about that our old 1960-65 C10's had available from Dealership Options and what the Original Owner could have added onto their Chevy's & GMC's back then. I only lest 1960-65 bcuz in late 1965 & 1966 GM & GMC started to put the RPO "White Sticker" information on the Clove Box and that made it so much easier to know what was ordered on the 1965-66 Chevy & GMC Pickup Truck's when new. Or if your really lucky you might find the "Original Build Sheet" stuffed in the back springs or the bottom springs of your bench seat! Hope this helps if you did not already know this my friend? Keep On Trucking Brother👍...

Definitely takes patience to do this job but it’s not too bad. My 61 Apache has metal frames on the windows. Replacing the glass setting tape was a process. Took some trial and error.

Only difference is the "A Pillar" and the Door's of course that means the Wing Window and Window Glass are a bit different, you will still be able to apply Brother Gibs Rebuilding techniques on the 1964-66 C10's & GMC's as well, they are just a bit different in shape that's all. Keep On Trucking Brother👍...

I buy all my Rubber Products from "Steel Rubber Products" they are the only American Made Rubber Products that I have found for my Vintage American Truck's and Car's. But other vindors buy there Rubber Products from "Steel Rubber Products" in Denver, North Carolina as well. You might want to take a few moments and ask your vindors who makes there Rubber Gaskets, over 90% are made in China, Japan, or who knows we're else... Buy American keep Jobs in America🇺🇸. Your videos have helped a lot with my C10 here in the UK. Do you have a kit part number for the stuff you used? It's much more difficult sending the stuff back if I get the wrong one 😆
@Gibson63.

It would be better if you went to precision web site www.prp.com to see what you have they make kits for the stainless steel insert for the rubber on the windshield and also for the back glass, and rather if you have metal around your door glass or not. A lot of different part numbers,after you fine what you want go to summit web site and put in the part number lot cheaper, that’s where precision referred me to.
