Thank you! My regulator went out last night. The fridge started not working on propane last week, and now the stove and the furnace or the oven worked, so I just went and picked up a new one and you showed me how to install it. Thank You.

Thank you for making this video. We have a very small leak in ours. I have the new regulator but have not replaced it yet. This video gave me the confidence boost needed to replace it myself.

We only open one tank at a time as to not run completely out of propane. Does the new regulator change over but tell you one tank is empty? Great video thanks for sharing!

Correct, whichever side the selector lever is set to will show “red” when that tank is empty, but it will pull from the other tank so propane will still flow to the RV. It is most helpful when running the furnace so you don’t run out of propane in the middle of a cold night. Thanks for watching!

You just broke both of your inlet hoses the way you disconnected them. Those are not swivel connections and you should never use a crimped ferrule for counter weight. The way they now swivel is because you compromised the crimp. You can actually see a small propane leak you caused at 8:45 of the video where the crimp meets the hex. Please get those hoses replaced asap by a professional that knows how to connect and disconnect fittings correctly.

Most newer rv propane connections use the colored twist knob connectors to the tanks. This prevents the problem of stressing the crimp connection on the hoses when disconnecting. You don't need a professional to change your hoses or tanks.

I believe the recall was for a leaking regulator, ours was just stuck in the red position. Thanks for watching!
