En la búsqueda de una de las Aves más Misteriosas de Bolivia en el Territorio Indígena
y Parque Nacional Isiboro Sécure (TIPNIS), Asociación Armonía con la colaboración de
las comunidades Indígenas Yuracarés y el Área Protegida ha grabado el
comportamiento natural del Pilisto (Pauxi unicornis) por primera vez.
El Pilisto o Pava Copete de Piedra actualmente está en Peligro Crítico de Extinción
principalmente por la pérdida de su hábitat, pero aún se encuentra con buenas
cantidades en el TIPNIS. ¡Ahora nos toca proteger el hábitat de esta pava endémica de
Bolivia!

In search for one of Bolivia’s most mysterious birds in the indigenous territory and
Isiboro Sécure National Park (TIPNIS), Asociación Armonía in collaboration with the
Yuracarés Indigenous communities and the Protected Area filmed for the first time the
natural behavior of the Horned Curassow (Pauxi unicornis).
The Horned Curassow is currently classified as Critically Endangered mainly due to
habitat loss, though significant numbers can still be found in the TIPNIS Now we have
to protect the habitat of this endemic Curassow!
