I have a cab on mine with old wisconsin motor, I just went with a diesel heater mounted on the top rear of the cab, it works great, i have to keep the windows open, just a thought. you already have the diesel tank, just have to run a fuel line

I know I am late, but here are some ideas that would help keep the CVT in place, john deere and polaris make diesel powered side by sides, they have a CVT and there is a tapered snout that bolts on to the end of the crankshaft. if one of those wouldn't work, you could have one made. Also, it looks like you could machine the flywheel down and gain close to a 1/2 inch of space. Lastly, a thread restoration kit not only fixes threads, it can be used to identify the thread so you know what to buy.

my 610 v4 is getting pretty tired. fogs for mosquitos wherever i go. If i could find a reasonable priced diesel might be a better option than rebuilding the wisconsin.

What size diameter is the pulley you made? How is the torque with the new assembly. Thanks for your videos. Just trying to work on mine. deh

The pulley is 9”. It has good torque, even at low throttle, which is nice for turning. Glad you like the videos!
