Personally i leave the brick in the bag and put it in a big ass tote, cut the top open, and fill the bag with water and let it sit for a good bit while the water soaks in. Then I just cut the side open and empty it into the tote and add of dump water as needed. Only works if your bag doesn't come full of holes obviously 😅.

Yeah! He's talking about Rosies! Sand boas are so popular these days, and they're cool enough, but man... they're under the damn sand most of the time! Most people who want a sand boa *really* want a rosie. Or maybe a rubber boa, but I don't know much about them. I like rosey boas because they act like boas and they look like boas (more so than sand & rubber) but they're small & easily housed. And I'm not sure there's many snakes that eat so well but don't bite *you* 😅

@@WickensWickedReptiles I took her to a doctor not too long ago because I'd give her mice, and she'd kill the mice but not eat them, and they were telling me to feed her pinky mice even though she's maybe three feet long. I'd been feeding her mice for months with no problem, and all of a sudden she was giving me problems. Since then she went through a shed so I called and asked if that could be why she wasn't eating, and they said it's possible but were still recommending smaller mice. Someone went and got three mice for me, and they weren't pinkies, but she ate one of them, and the others are on death row.

Could you make a video about enclosure placement and outfitting? For instance, should you keep arboreal species higher up, would it make them more comfortable like alot of birds? Also would transparent bottom enclosures help arboreal species that rarely go to ground feel more comfortable by creating the illusion of more vertical space within their enclosure? Also is it beneficial to insulate the bottoms of enclosures for fossorial species to reduce the myriad of constant background vibrations produced by modern houses?

As you're saying with the outliers of real life species being like maybe twice the size of what they normally get it just started me thinking of the modern Pokemon games where they actually show a little bit of a range for the sizes Pokemon can be I mean Pokemon are still going to be really really large or really really small based on the species you're not going to get a Pikachu that's anywhere near the size of a Gyarados and vice versa but on Pokemon go once my friend from the neighborhood and I were trading Lugia when we got to Lucky friends once I had a record small one and she had a record large one we swapped and then looked at our Pokedex to see the range we had the one she gave me was like 10 times the size of the one I gave her I don't know if you ever saw that episode of Pokemon where there was a baby Lugia but that was definitely going through my head most pokemon go even if you get a really really large one and a really really small one it's usually going to be no more than like maybe two or three times the height of the little one for the large one and maybe up to 10 times the weight

When we were kids my brother and cousin used to catch green anoles and get them to bite their ear lobes so they had lizard earings. Before someone freaks out, they never hurt the lizards and always let them go afterwards. I never did it. I just liked watching the lizards run around in the bushes.

The gecko with wings reminds me you know there's so many types of lizards that have dragon as part of their common name I would assume all of which with the exception of the Komodo dragon can be pets I feel like someone had to name one of those after one of the House of the dragon or game of thrones dragons and got them some wings from the small pet clothing section that they have at Petco and PetSmart around Halloween I really feel like I need to see somebody do that

One thing no one tells you about rosy boas is that as they grow older, their personality can switch to a bitey one. Thats what happened with me. Started super docile and sweet. But as he grew, he turned food aggressive at anything with a heartbeat (and this is with me handling him a few times a week to keep him tame). And it starts with no warning (thankfully their bites are pretty minimal and light). Some people vow that they dont bite, and then others, especially breeders and store keepers, say rosies are the most bitey species they've dealt with. Im only guessing its luck of the draw.
