Good to see you back Gøran. That was short and sweet! I was just getting settled when you stopped! Really nice outcome there, and the media cabinet is looking very handsome. More Nomadic stuff soon, please!

Hi, this is a cool way to do this if you don't have a band saw or it's jiggly, but (I might have missed you mention it) I really want to point out that you shouldn't do this with any bigger piece than he is showing here. İf you are ambitious and try to do this with a bigger piece there is a serious risk. İn all likelyhood you'll get a hole in your stomach

Not if you know how to use a table saw. Which you always should before you use it. A bigger piece is usually more stable and easier to control as long as its not excessivly big. Then you can easily use push blocks also and really push down on the part. His saw also has a riving knife so a kick back is unlikely. Unless you do something completely wrong. But as long as you use correct table saw manners there is no big risk. Raising the blade up high always increases risk of course but as long as you handle it correctly its not dangerous. If youre uncomfortable with having the blade raised like that then a solution would be to lower the blade a bit and then run the last middle section that is left, in the band saw.
