Jean is a true gem. I had the honor of attending a summit with her and she was just so open and eager to teach and for us to learn. She really puts passion and thought into her photography and it shows.

I have been following Jean for many years. Every time I watch one of her videos I pick up something new to consider for my upcoming shoots. Her insight on how to prepare and develop a photographic story helps me remember things to make my photos better for my clients.

This episode was great! First, how to prepare for and scout a shooting location. How to connect with and befriend players, coaches, groundskeepers, etc. Then an in-depth look at her camera's lenses, and even carrying bags. Plus, lots of great glimpses of the Oakland A's camp in the Dominican Republic!

Great content Jean. Thanks for walking us through your planning and how you prep for a shoot. I also appreciated you sharing what cameras you use and the lenses you rely on the most. Hearing from you what you use each lens for gave me a few ideas for myself. I have the same Lowepro backpack and it has been a great workhorse for me. I can get so much gear in it. Looking forward to the next episode!

Thx for the video series…very informative! Surprised Jean doesn’t bring a 1.4tc as I would think the 300 2.8 a bit short for outfield shots even with A1 and especially with A93. TC can’t be a weight issue and I am sure the cost isn’t an issue so a bit puzzling to me.

Thanks for this really nice presentation. As a teacher, I really respect your willingness to share this kind of information. As an amateur photographer I thank you for your time in doing so. BTW, I absolutely love the LowePro bags. I have a Photo Hatchback and it's just been a really durable and easy to use bag. I appreciate that this talk was not all about equipment because one can adapt the ideas for preparing, techniques and for the different shots to an level of equipment. I say that because most of the gear here is way beyond my budget.
