this interview awoke /reawoke something inside of me. we live in a world where we feel like we're wrong in some way if we're different. non conformists have always been subject to contempt and disrespect. here we have an example of fine, intelligent, polite elder who has contributed greatly to society and commands respect with every gentle and civilized word she speaks. she inspired me to stand more firmly in who I am and to not let outdated and dyeing beliefs make me feel like I am less than. because they are dyeing ! and in it's place the new generations I believe, even if there not users might finally start to mind there own business and live and let live just because these plants aren't 'bad' anymore. think of the mental wellness and healing that could come out of a society that lives in acceptance and respect for one another's choices rather than fear and condemnation.

Psychedelics are great, one time I was trippin on too much acid and I was staring at a fire pit and the fire pit turned into a mini world with little people and buildings, that was 2 years ago and it's such an experience to remember. would love to try out the psilocybin mushrooms next, just don't know where to get them, so hard to come by

I haven't really had what they call an ego death, but I've had some experiences on shrooms, especially. I did shrooms 6 or 7 months after someone who was like a 2nd mom to me passed. Thinking that the worst of the grief was over or that maybe I thought I was just getting better, I dunno. Anyway, I like laying on my bed in the dark with headphones on when I'm on shrooms. I don't know if it was a thought or one of the songs I was listening to, but I started to see her face come into my view. Then I felt this warmth come over me like a hug. It wasn't until I opened my eyes that I realized I was crying.

4-6 grams (in 1 setting) will usually get you there. DMT can take anywhere around 3-12 puffs (you must inhale as long as you can), entirely depending on the purity of the dmt which you can usually tell by the taste, colour n smell. What is ego death? my experience.. you can no longer recognise a me, I . “You” no longer recognise your own existence, literally 0 earthy attachment. How will you know when it happens, oh you will def know as you can no longer internalise, interpret thought as there’s no “me” to use a point of reference. Each time I was suspended in pure darkness. You should try it. It’s like you get to die but you have a return ticket 🎫

I once had a bad trip after double-dropping (not smart, but I thought I’d do it because the dealer usually didn’t get terribly strong stuff - this time was an exception, but too late). The year was 1996. It lasted two days, and was “themed” as being in Hell. Blood - fire - screaming - maggots - carnage - demonic imagery. It was fucking terrifying. I was outstide during a barbecue party. I apparently laid on the ground, unmoving and silent. I was known for being a tripper, and was left alone. I eventually returned, and stood up. The ground had been a brick patio with a criss-cross pattern. That pattern was red-lined down one side of my face and the front of my body for the better part of the week following. The numbness and pins ‘n’ needles was next level. I had recurring nightmares of that trip for a decade, and initially felt like I was possessed. I traumatised myself quite badly. I had tripped hundreds of times with different kinds of substances, but nothing like that experience had ever hit me before. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Be careful.
