Hello my beloved KZitem family. In this video, I am making one of my all time favourite Malaysian Tea time snack/ dessert. The very well known "Kuih Sagu Merah". Which is actually steamed red sago pearls with grated coconut. Here's an easy way of making this irresistible tea time favourite.
Kindly refer to the key ingredients of this cocolicious delight & it's measurements as listed below.
INGREDIENTS for Kuih Sagu Merah B'Kelapa
■ Sago - 2 cups
■ Rose Syrup - 2tbsp
■ Sugar - 2 cups
■ Grated Coconut - 2cups (steamed)
■ Pandan Leaves - 2 or 3 leaves; knotted
■ Water - 4 cups
■ Fine Salt - 2tsp
■ Oil for greasing
■ Jelly Moulds/ Baking Pan
