Kali ini jom kita buat pai tee pula. Pai tee ni sejenis hidangan snek atau hidangan sampingan ala Nyonya. Kalau anda suka makan di The Chicken Rice Shop ni biasa ada pai tee dalam set hidangannya. Kali ini kita cuba buat sendiri, lebih puas makan dan lebih jimat. Untuk intinya tu saya guna ala-ala inti popiah sayur. Lebih baik sayurnya disagat supaya lebih kecil, senang nak masukkan ke dalam kulit pai tee tu nanti.

❤️KULIT PAI TEE :
1 & 1/2 cawan tepung beras (165 gm)
3 sudu besar tepung jagung (21 gm)
3 sudu besar tepung gandum (25 gm)
1 & 1/2 cawan air (375 ml)
1/2 sudu teh garam
1 biji telur gred A
*Untuk kulit pai tee ni boleh dapat dalam (+-) 100 keping
❤️INTI :
2 sudu besar minyak masak
4 ulas bawang putih (cincang halus)
2 ulas bawang merah (didadu)
1 sudu besar udang kering (rendam & cincang halus)
Sedikit air
1-2 sudu teh serbuk lada putih kasar
1/2 kiub pati ikan bilis
1/2 batang lobak merah (sagat/ hiris nipis memanjang)
1 batang timun (sagat/hiris nipis memanjang)
1 biji sengkuang saiz kecil (sagat/hiris nipis memanjang)
5-6 ekor udang saiz L (potong kecil)
2 genggam taugeh
Garam secukupnya
*Inti cukup untuk (+-) 50 keping kulit pai tee
❤️SOS :
10 tangkai cili kering (rendam &buang sebahagian biji)
2 ulas bawang putih
1 & 1/2 cawan air
1/4 cawan cuka makan
1 ketul kecil gula Melaka
1 sudu besar sos ikan
1/2 sudu besar chili flakes
2-3 sudu besar gula pasir
garam secukupnya
Air tepung jagung (1 sudu besar tepung jagung + 2 sudu besar air)

This time I made delicious Nyonya snack or side dish, called pai tee. Pai tee shell is crunchy, filled with veggie-based filling, almost similar with vegetable popiah. These pai tees are as delicious as The Chicken Rice Shop's. If you like pai tee, you can easily make it at home. This recipe yield a lot especially the shell. I would suggest to grate the veggies to obtain smaller size, so it is easier to stuff in the shell.

❤️PAI TEE SHELL :
1 & 1/2 cups rice flour (165 gm)
3 tbsp cornstarch (21 gm)
3 tbsp all purpose flour (25 gm)
1/2 tsp salt
1 & 1/2 cups water (375 ml)
1 large egg
*You can get (+-) 100 pcs of shell)
❤️FILLING :
2 tbsp cooking oil
4 cloves garlic (minced)
2 shallots (diced)
1 tbsp dried shrimps (soaked & minced)
A little bit of water
1-2 tsp coarse white pepper powder
1/2 anchovies stock cube
1/2 carrot (grated/julienned)
1 small yam bean (grated/julienned)
1 cucumber (grated/julienned)
5-6 large shrimps (cut into small pieces)
2 handfulls of bean sprouts
salt to taste
*The filling is enough for (+-) shell)
❤️SAUCE :
10 pcs dried chilies (boiled & deseeded)
2 cloves garlic
1 & 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 small black palm sugar
1/2 tbsp chili flakes
1 tbsp fish sauce
2-3 tbsp granulated sugar
salt to taste
cornstarch mixture (mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water)
