Spencer's bodyguards were ripped apart by Albert Wesker; the man in shades arrived on the scene ahead of Chris and Jill, after Spencer's butler leaked his location to Ada Wong (actually, this is explained in a file in this very DLC), who, then (likely under orders from Simmons, as Ada was a double agent for him at this time) leaked the information to the BSAA as well, who dispatched Chris and Jill to the scene to investigate, and hopefully, arrest Oswell E. Spencer. Having arrived ahead of them, Wesker fought his way through Spencer's elite bodyguards, and during the chaos, the Keepers of Madness/Blobs were released; you know, the B.O.Ws Spencer had his Butler inject with a random Progenitor Virus strain, still hoping to uncover the secret to immortality and human evolution after Alex Wesker abandoned the cause. While the Keepers of Madness were set loose throughout the estate, it would seem that Albert only actually fought and killed one, as a corpse of one of the monsters can be found in the torture chamber area. How far ahead of Chris and Jill Albert was, we don't know, but the signs of a battle having taken place are very fresh when we arrive to the estate, so it's very possible Chris and Jill were only rooms behind Albert, despite his enhanced speed, as, well, I'd imagine Wesker was held up by Spencer's guards, the Keepers of Madness, and the various traps filling the estate just as much as his former S.T.A.R.S comrades were, not to mention Chris and Jill lost some time considering they ended up having to take a detour through the estate's sewer after an old floor collapsed. By the time Chris and Jill catch up to Albert, he seems to have only just then finished talking to and murdering Spencer, considering Chris and Jill walk in on him right after he rips his hand out of Spencer's chest, not to mention that, as Chris and Jill approach the estate's library, the hallway leading to that room is littered with the bodies of Spencer's bodyguards, all of them having been killed in a similarly brutal manner while attempting to make a last stand against Albert. What's weird about that whole thing, to me at least, is that Albert somehow fought his way through a group of, like, 10 guys, in a narrow hallway, with no cover, all of them having been armed with .9mm Beretta 92FS handguns. This is weird to me, because, while I don't think they could have killed Wesker, I don't really see how he got through that corridor, considering our boy isn't exactly bulletproof. Albert Wesker is a lot of things, true. But bulletproof isn't one of them, considering he is shown bleeding from being shot, not only during gameplay, but also during cutscenes, as Chris was able to put a few in his arm and shoulder to force him to drop his Samurai Edge during the Stealth Bomber fight at the end of the game. Albert is bullet resistant, but not bulletproof; his rapid healing factor and the density of his bones prevent gunshot wounds from becoming life threatening injuries, and reduces them down to being nothing more then a series of flesh wounds that, with his rapid healing capability, will hill in no time flat, but just like with Wolverine, there's likely an upper-limit to just how much Albert can take before a series of flesh wounds result in shock, trauma, or bleeding to death, healing factor or no healing factor. So, that corridor, there were a number of guys stacked up against the walls, likely all standing at the ready to gun down anything that remotely tried to open the door going to the library. It was a very narrow passage way, with a group of men on one side targeting an intruder trying to enter from the other side. There wasn't exactly enough room for Albert's super speed to work here, considering he's not the Flash, guy requires momentum for long range high speed, where as his close range bursts of speed are far more jerky and doge oriented, so I don't see Albert as being able to dodge every single Beretta 92FS in that hallway. Maybe he tanked them? I mean, at first, upon looking at the corridor leading to the library, my first thought was that, maybe Albert stayed at the back of the corridor, and shot at them with his Samurai Edge from the entrance, using the door as cover. But no, that's obviously not what happened, those guys were literally beaten to death, and at least a few of them met the same fate Spencer Would at the hands of a Rhino Charge attack - so I really don't think a gunfight happened in this room. So, yeah, the only logical explanation I can think of is that Albert barged into the room, and tried to use his enhanced strength and endurance to just bully his way through the last stand team of bodyguards, likely attempting to put as many of them down with single strikes as possible before mercilessly finishing off any stragglers, recomposing himself, and, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he took a few moments to allow his healing factor to rejuvenated any damage taken during the last stand team's barrage, if only to make sure he was ready for the next influx of damage, just in case Spencer wasn't in the library, or in case there were more guards in there with him, or just in case Spencer, as a last resort, was waiting behind the door in his wheel chair with a double barrel shotgun or some kind of unforeseen boobie trap, or worse, another B.O.W pet like the Keepers of Madness. Either way, whatever happened in that hallway, the deaths of those men provided Chris and Jill with new handguns to use in their confrontation with Albert Wesker in the library, where, it didn't change anything; as much as they struggled, Albert still beat the ever living hell out of both of them, and would have killed Chris if not for Jill taking the L and tackling Albert through a window, sending them both to an apparent death, although, given Chris's lack of surprise that Wesker was alive, I'm sure he had his doubts as to whether or not Albert actually died in that fall. As for Jill? Yeah, no, until Chris saw the BSAA Data breach information Josh Stone gave him at the train scrapyard in Kijuju, the one that had a picture of Jill in it, I'm almost sure Chris thought Valentine was dead and gone after the Spencer Estate battle, considering his behavior prior to seeing that image leads me to believe he had no expectation of possibly ever seeing her, again, where as Wesker had survived the Spencer Mansion explosion, and the Antarctic explosion, and generally had a knack for coming back.

Every single location in re0 and re1 is an unmatched level of horror. The atmosphere, the music, the absolute betrayal of random new zombies showing up in a room that you had already cleared, the graphics sometimes being so muddy that shapes look like disfigured faces. The nightmare fuel that taps into your childhood memories of fearing these two games. I remember turning re1 off numerous times, not caring that I didn't save yet, and walking away from the game for years, never completing it until I was 18. I had NIGHTMARES of being inside spencer mansion. To this day I'm still drawn to this series, even if the weakest, slowest zombies still make my hands sweat to this day

Yes, and Hookman is going to be in Resident Evil 4 Remake, and Leon is getting a jacket that resembles the one he wore in the RE 3.5 prototype, which leads me to believe they're incorporating the hallucinations from RE 3.5, probably as a symptom of Leon being injected with the Las Plagus parasite from Sadler.

For me Its gotta be opening rooms of SS Queen Zenobia from Rev1. Those rooms are just nothing like we see on the rest of the ship, there's just, unusually large amount of full or partial corpses of collateral passangers of that foresaken ship Nowhere else do we find so many of them, not in their rooms, not in hallways Feels like almost everyone turned Expect these guys and few more exceptions in locked off rooms And also those washing machines, both broken, oozing out blood and working ones, "washing" pool blood, still one year after ship fell My thoughts were These guys were the last one to Die, group of survivors making last stand, perhaps in their desperation they were trying to reach loading bay our heroes enter the ship from, hoping to once getting outside, lock the door behind and try to reach one of life rafts OR on the desperation, straight up try swimming to shore, regardless how impossible it would be My take on what happend It went smooth till they reached kitchen, first one got showed against stewing pots, prolly lost concious and got munched on. Second guy, being also one with the Berreta got his hand ripped off, stabbed, and thrown onto table where he quickly bled out. His hand would be throw into mass of rotting human meat and blood blocking vent where it sank deeper and was found again by Jill one year later. After running off from kitchen, the only Zenobia crewman among the group, already wearing life jacket, either chose to hide in the vents and wait out or got pulled into same vent that Rachel was attacked from by first Ooze in the trailer where depending on what happend, either crawled in deeper or got dragged in, becoming somewhere late infected, starting into initial phase of mutating and then dying for unclear reason, his body later fell out of the duct after bolts holding it on the celling gave in, jumpscaring us players, being now down to only 4-6 (depending on how you count remains in there) people. They reach the loading bay where they get ambushed again, two being dragged into ventilator ducts, with one being later devoured, 3 being thrown onto objects in the room, being later feasted upon to varying degree. In the end they were only door away from their freedom but in a bittersweet note, there's a chance one person in the group managed to succede as when we arrive, we find the door into loading bay chained from the outside. Fate of that person has likely wasn't much different, dying either trying to lower life raft to escape or drowning in the sea from exhaustion if they went with insane plan of swimming from the ship

Difficult to choose, but I'd go for the Spencer mansion. The lighting and music in itself is creepy, as well as the array of enemies (zombies, dogs, crimson heads, hunters)... you're never quite sure what will be around the next corner. The training facility in RE0 comes a close second. Super creepy music, good graphics and those horrific leach monsters, and the monkey infested underground section.

I played the original Resident Evil back in 97 a little while after it came out. I was about ten, when I got down to the lab and saw the naked emaciated zombies due to their condition I figured they were even weaker than regular zombies so they didn't really scare me. What really scared me the most back then was the hunters just because of how fast agile and deadly they were.

It's just a demo But its unsettling and rare for a Resident evil Game to be in. Not since Resident evil 3.5 development era. Either way its haunting when playing through the beginning Hour Demo This Ghostly aberration. Or entity Which does disappear on small frames. Appears and is considering Haunting. For myself the most frightening enemy Is Resident evil 5 ( The Reaper. )
