Love that there isn't as much social interaction since I have social anxiety. Thanks for the video.

I am an incoming 3rd year medical student. After I finished our anatomic and clincal pathology, I am just in awe in the knowledge in store for me in this specialization. Totally my first choice!

I became a pathologist because I discovered I didn't have the patience, the stamina, or the personality to be a clinician, especially in OB/GYN. LOL :-)

I honestly would have loved to be a Pathologist and this really fit my character. But I feel now I am too old and I just was never told about this field in school or I would have took it up in highschool.

This video is very insightful for the pathology program. As a prospective applicant for residency training this year, it has given me a good overview of the learning opportunities at the program!

I have always wanted to be a doctor but I was scared of open wounds and stuff like that so for me pathology is away to avoid that stuff but am also fascinated by the equipment and time in the lab

Good video, I am unsure with residency to go through, torn between Infectious Diseases, Pathology, Neurology, Oncology and Nephrology. I know, it is a lot to choose from. But videos like these certainly helps.

I think about becoming a pathologist. Iabsolutely love microscopes, slides and dead bodies aren’t grossing me out, the only problem is that I am a very social person and I love interacting with them, pathologist doesn’t work with patients very often ;(((

Statistically, that's not representative of the population. They interviewed 6 people of whom only 2 were male.

The lab in general is female and people of color dominated. Path is predominantly male though but the diversity is expanding with indian, asian and north Africans taking the lead. European males are still of course predominant for NOW (maniacal laugh😆) I'm kidding 😄

This is where the patients money is drained from their life regardless of any solutions being discovered.
