Thank you so much for these videos. I am in New Zealand. My Brother in law had Bilateral BK on 27 June and yesterday the left became AK. In following your "tutorial I am much more aware of his future path, and hopefully able to support him Physically and mentally. He is 4 month older than me, I turned 69 on June 28th. I haven't heard much about being put in prone position but we have been told to do certain exercises or there is little chance of prosthetic in the future. Best Wishes, Andrew.

You are Mr. Wonderful ! I'm Steve and I've been an AK for 52 years and saw your EP 14 for the first time. Wow! You really breakdown the science of walking and I learned things I never knew! Cannot wait to start the complete series

Awesome information. I have watched several of your podcasts. This is one of the best in mu opinion as I am getting my below the right knee amputation done on 10/11/2023. It has to be done so, as strange as it may sound, I am looking forward to it. thanks for the helpful guides.

Awesome video and insight 👌🏽 Are there any shrinkers available for transfemoral amputees to help with conning and oedema management during pre-prosthetic management or the traditional way of conning is the only way to go with transfemoral amputees? Thank you

I am 5 weeks out (aka) and still have staples. I'm very concerned as the staples are becoming embedded. Also i haven't been shown any of these residual limb exercises/care techniques. Ought i be concerned?

What is the name of the technique you are using when "massaging" the incision site?

This is a deep friction massage as originally proposed by Cyriax, for the purposes of preventing scar adhesions. It is sometimes also known as scar massage/mobilization, or a variation of soft tissue mobilization (STM).
