I hope that you don't mind but if you dry your UV-resin underneath as well as on top you will get better results. I place an acrylic mirror under my projects. That helps!

@@user-dy9ij3wi6r I put foil on a piece of cardboard.. a shiny surface to keep the light bouncing around is all it takes. And if it gets messy I change it up👌 ~of course a mirror is great too but I don’t trust myself with it😂😂

You need to divide your large resin cup into smaller cups before pouring so that it doesn't overheat by the time you use all of it. That's why the last item flash-cured. The deeper the resin the hotter it gets. The longer it sits in your cup the more heat it creates. I found this out the hard way. My item started smoking! NOmot stream, SMOKE!! It can start on fire. Thankfully, I was still in my studio when it happened. I had to use thick gloves to pick it up because of the heat. I then put it in a plastic box to carry outside to my driveway. The cardboard might have kept it burning. I was very confused because I had never had that happen, I used the right resin, a deer pour meant for 2 to 4 inches. Later I realized that I had mixed 32 Oz and I poured several items. Meanwhile, the resin was overheating. It was the last item that I poured that flash-cured. I have to be more careful now. I suggest a smoke alarm right above your work area. I wish that I afford sprinklers as my studio is next to my house. Anyway, great videos! I hope to do them someday.

What beautiful pigments these are Simon!! Do you have a website? I’ve never seen the eyes done with Posca Pens… a great idea! And one I will definitely try out myself. Your larger skull pour was interesting, to say the least! I wonder what happened… and why it didn’t happen with the frog? It certainly wasn’t that much deeper!! 🤔 And, when I first saw it, I thought to myself… ‘I hope he demoulds it with the drips intact’… and you did!! 😁 He looks soooo cool… what a bummer you can’t do that again… or could you?!? 🤣 🤣 I’d love to see the process you do with your mandala coasters… they are really lovely. And, how do you do those eye catching eyes?? 😉 It’d also be great if you videoed the making of the frog silicone mould!?! I’m now a new subscriber! Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia) ❤❤🇦🇺

@mattersofthehartbynat8815 ok I have a few asking about my micas you were interested in .. I copies one I will attach.... Matters of the h’ART by Nat Simon Foster I was going to ask the same thing… and I think she means do you have a video of the beginning of this… as in, how you get the pattern in the tray so that you can start filling it in. When this video starts, you already have the pattern in, and a layer of resin poured. I have been working with resin for a couple of years now, but I’m very interested in how you get it all laid out… and the same with the mandala coasters I saw in a previous video I watched. You mentioned (in the other video) that you used your laser cutter, and I don’t understand the process. I hope this makes some kind of sense?!? BTW… the piece you’re working on is beautiful!! I’m enjoying your videos! Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia) ♥️♥️🇦🇺 REPLY
