Very interesting and detailed presentation of the process. Well documented. Love seeing the VMR Shockwaves out and about!

Possibly the most informative vacuum infusion build video I have seen. Super sweet boat, so many nice design features. Answered a few of my questions regarding vacuum infusion but still got some.

Great video. can you get a bit more in depth on infusing the hull in sections, I have experimented with infusion and i would like to use the technology in building some parts infusing in sections, Cheers Bo

I built social ski, ski race and fishing boats for 10 years. I always doubted using synthetic materials in the transom over Ply. Seems my doubts were justified. Fibreglassing really does suck badly.

Interesting video I guess they taper the edges so it overlaps with the next section …wouldn’t like the wood but sounds like it’s the stronger option probably the life of the boat for the first owner anyway

If the penetrations are done properly it will never be an issue. It's only when someone exposes it to water does it have a chance to deteriorate.

Please excuse my ignorance, but why has this style of twin hull boat been known for tipping over thanks
@the-naked-sailor

Probably due to its high centre of gravity.

Twin hull = catamaran. You may have an impression of catamarans tipped over (capsized) from ocean sailboat racing. Ocean racing monohulls have lead keels, so when terrible things happen, they sink. Catamarans don’t have lead, so when terrible things happen, they are found floating upside down the next day. Survivorship bias. We don’t see the upside-down boats that sank.
