This song is incredible! The ambient elements and subdued chorus vocals are the highlights for me. That vocal melody is hauntingly good.

See that smile you had at 4:27? That's what their music does to me. Their music makes me, musically, the happiest I have ever been since the release of Souvenirs, by Novelists.

I feel like a different band would have just ended the song at the end of the final chorus before that instrumental outro. Here it gives so much epicness to have this last part. I wish now it would be the last song on the album. Resolve are definitely one the best thing for modern Metalcore.

They had to throw the title in a few more times. Which ends up making the most interesting parts of the song the least interesting lyrically.

These guys are probably the best band in metalcore, in my opinion.. Fixed. Some people don't like how they rely so heavily on electronica and distorted vocals. Or how their structure is always heavy verse, clean chorus with few exceptions. Or how those choruses tend to be overlong. Or how their breakdowns tend to be very one note, and often very short. They're fine for what they do, and there's a bit of variety there, but there are also things they overdo that I wish they did far less.

The two verses are very similar (save for them adding a bit more aggression in the vocals). The bridge into a pretty safe breakdown was pretty predictable. They did the chorus 3 times (though the third one was definitely a step up). They relied a bit too much on the electronic elements. And they used the title of the song A LOT in the choruses. Almost a dozen times, actually. It's crazy how these things are issues with other bands but not here. The most Canadian thing about you Birb? How preferential you are towards the French 😉

Right? This is just yet another djenty, modern metal band whose tuning is so low you can't hear any actual riffs with a bit of synth and some heavily produced clean vocals. Also yet another band people tag as metalcore despite the 'core' element being notable by its absence.
