Whenever rotating frames are involved , we consider OBSERVERs and not points. Points are theoretical ,zero dimensional constructs used for explaining our observations when in translating frames. Points are never considered to be rotating in classical mechanics. Eg: CM is a theoretical POINT . When we say , w.r.t. CM we mean only translating frame. If we attach rotating frame also , there is no Fun or value to Concept . All bodies in CM frame would be in standstill, we wouldn't be able to see rotational KE from CM frame... As per your request reference, 1)You may try a concise version of derivation of relative velocity and pseudo forces from OBSERVERs attached to rotating frame from this MIT courseware lecture ocw.mit.edu/courses/aeronautics-and-astronautics/16-07-dynamics-fall-2009/lecture-notes/MIT16_07F09_Lec08.pdf 2)You may also read from either "meriam kraigge " or kleppner ( I don't exactly recall the book) . The derivation should be in standard classical mechanics books 3) You may alternatively look at the derivation I did of the same (pseudo force components in rotating frame) for easy understanding in my 100th video (please kindly watch first 15 min atleast🙏🙂) here👇 kzitem.info/news/bejne/rHxusICmbKuaiXo

I don't understand why to create such a ruckus for this. It is obvious that in rotation about any fixed point, different points will undergo circular motion in different planes therefore there will be no approach or seperation between them. Vrel=0. It can be directly concluded.

Very well explained. A suggestion: actually what you have shown here is a frame which is both translating and rotating. This fact could have been added to the video to relate this concept to the one of purely rotating frames (i.e. the case if the observer sits at the centre of the wheel) which is more widely understood.
