Hey, I'm Stephen A Smith, a bona-fide shock jock, who attended a second-rate college and lied about my college sports career among other falsehoods that I tirelessly perpetuate across various media channels, to inflate my fragile ego. I'm incredibly thin skinned, though posing as a professional analyst, I love to denigrate professional athletes even if it makes me appear unintelligent, unprofessional and immature, because I'm about clicks and staying things for effect to boost my popularity and brand. Despite the fact people are beginning to see through my carefully crafted facade, aided and abetted by the flailing ESPN franchise, I think I can still fool most of the people enough of the time to continue to earn a generous income from KZitem. You see I've got two things going for me - one, I can count a captive audience of uneducated, jobless, armchair quarterbacks and deadbeats to keep me #1 shock jock, and two, I have recruited this amazingly natural and personable analyst and presenter called Shannon Sharpe - and I'm going to ride his coattails for the next couple of years as he helps me make more mula - which is my ultimate barometer of success.

Steven a smith, You are pitiful explaining your cracked knee as an excuse.😂 I don't want to go to Raleigh Winston Salem Hospital for your medical records. According to how you are on NBA players, You were supposed to heal your knee up in a week and get out there and shoot fifteen three pointers a game in your college career. What's wrong with you? How come you didn't do it? I'll tell you why.... Blah blah blah, That was how you sound Stephen A blah blah blah...

The Chefs in New Orleans are clamoring for Zion is the laziest cop out and Stephen A deserved this response. People heard that statement one time and just spew it whenever they talk about Zion.

One thing about New Orleans we do hold a grudge. This will never end Stephen A. Smith. You wrote a check we will cash every single opportunity for the rest of your career.

You’re a sports commentator. Your job is to comment on how players are playing, your job is not too take it off the court talking about his eating habits you cannot say something isn’t personal when you make it personal and then openly admit that you don’t know him well enoughto say that on national TV about him.

It seems like you’re taking all this personal. He said you can take it but what I have is an eight minute smear campaign against both scion and Anthony Daniels now the man says one bad thing about you says you’re being lazy about your comments and you take it more personal than I’ve ever seen anyone take my life. Maybe it’s you that really look in the mirror and think about stuff because I’ll be honest you’re looking like a fool here.

You hit the nail on the head in regards to their priorities. If they're going to start responding to everything any pundit has to say there aren't enough hours in the day for that. Instead, you take the high road until you can respond with a division title, a playoff series win, a conference championship appearance and/or a title. Anything less than that is just petulance and misguided emotions on their part. Nice job Stephen A, at some these people will realize coming after someone with his own KZitem channel as his SIDE hustle is futile.

What happened to the “6 inch screw” SAS said he still had in his bone? An X-ray would work real well to settle this. ESPN has to be deducting “credibility” off the negotiations. We were all scrubs when young & went to other careers when we realized that we didn’t have what it took to play at a certain level (Jr High for me 😂). But we still love sports. Just admit it SAS. You’re making it worse. Stop explaining. Yiu go after ppl now they’re going after tou. Just keep moving forward instead of whining backwards.

Dude seems pretty bothered for not being bothered. My favorite part.....I woulda been able to score 25 a game...but didn't. But I could have. But didn't. Steven Fake Smith is the problem with sports media. Unprofessional....loud mouth....combatative....doesnt respect sports journalism etiquette. Doesnt even know what he is talking about half the time. This is another reason he is afraid of guys like Pat McAfee. Someone decent and has a genuine following who crazy enough is entertaining.

These “reporters” turn into clowns and disrespect to keep themselves in the game. That’s why I stopped watching them. Most of the ESPN gang, with clownish Shannon Sharpe, and FS1’s.

While you're coming at Antonio Daniels, you shouldn't throw little slights at Zion. You claim to be cheering for people but your demonstration of cheering is poor! Just because it's true doesn't mean it has to be mentioned. Your statement of facts are probably true per your sources but your claim that you are rooting for certain players comes across as disingenuous. Keep celebrating your ratings and padding your pockets on the backs of athletes that you "celebrate". 🤦🏾♂️💯🙏🏾

“It wasn’t personal” Stephan A says. I don’t know about anyone in the comments and where you stand on body shaming or anything like that. But I’ll tell you this. What Stephan A is doing is essentially saying Zion underperforming based upon the standards that were placed upon him when he was drafted is chalked up to him being fat. Thats personal. I may have thought Zion was gonna be more than he is right now, but I don’t think that gives me the right to call him fat and out of shape. Especially since I’m not a dietitian, I’m not a former professional athlete, and I’m not a member of the New Orleans Pelicans. Stephan A went too far. Plain and simple.

You can’t fat shame people on your platform who’s never disrespected you and then cry victim when the favor is returned in kind. I like you Stephen A but sometimes you act like you’re not above reproach. C’mon man. That was classless and gutless and not respectable commentary. Kudos to Antonio Daniels and the Pelicans for speaking up for Zion. And kudos for Zion for not disrespecting you in the way he could when you insult him. You wanna give a firm take? That’s fine. But fat shaming for entertainment value and then crying victim when people respond in kind is lame.

Sometimes I really dislike SAS. This man said Zion has chefs clamoring over him and that he eats too many burgers just to get upset when the Pelicans respond. Dawg, with the way you talk about people, you have to know someone is going to say something about you. Mentioning McDonalds, burgers and chefs could have been left out. You can argue your point of him being out of shape without the other ish.

I honestly thought he would have learned his lesson after Kwame. I used to love Stephen A, but now I have no respect for him. It's one thing to call a player overweight and SHOW examples via your journalistic acumen how it has impacted his game, but what he does is flat out verbal abuse. I used to give him the benefit of the doubt because of his journey, but if this is the destination, I personally will no longer be subscribing.

Stephen A. No player in the NBA owes you an explanation on their performance on the court. You are not paying any of them. Shouting does not make your views fact. It would serve you well to stop attacking players ( all sports) on a personal level. " Grow up , dial it back".

Steven A. the most sensitive person in the world. He’s got the biggest mouth ever and can handle it with someone calls them out. I learned that just by watching how he responded to Jason Whitlock. He can’t handle that Jason doesn’t give a crap about him and could care less what he says lol. I actually gained respect for Jason just by watching the way he handled Steven. Jason definitely said something about him that hit a nerve that’s for sure.😂
