"What a difference a day makes" Damn. When you said that opening line, the hammer fell for me. I respected/respect,Mr Kevin Samuels. The man started the conversation that we needed to have. The man stood up to what we know would've happened to him because of the conversation he forced us to start having. He took the blows and smiled then came even harder. The man used facts and statistics, not just speculation and feelings to pull back the curtains and show us the truth. Rest in power Mr Samuels. Salute and God speed sir.

Kevin got me through the pandemic when I felt like I was worthless and at my lowest. And after listening to him I steadily sought to rebuild myself. I was mad at women before finding him because of my own mistakes but after finding him I began to claim as much responsibility as I could and cope with that weight. Now I’m off the streets and my self esteem is finally going back to pre pandemic levels. All because of him. This was the first death where I jus couldn’t believe because I didn’t want to but now I guess it’s true. Thank you KS it may have been harsh but it’s needed. I wish i could hug you as a man and tell you thank you and honestly I thought I’d have the chance. Now I jus don’t know.

He spoke the TRUTH that BW were not hearing b/c they had no fathers to teach them. Him being labeled a "misogynist" despite how he tried to teach & help BM & BW. He wanted us to accept responsibility for our reproduction, prioritize marriage, & be accountable for our own toxic, illogical behaviors. Tithing has nothing to do with the death of this man nor does it constitute the justification for his death, neither does it reduce the validity of his words. Whether you’re a man of faith or not, we can all find common ground on one foundation, and that is TRUTH. Not his or her truth, “THE” truth. Religion is too much of a subjective topic to discuss with everyone. So the truth of the matter is, Kevin stood on his principles, he did his best to fulfill his purpose by educating others, and even though his words may fall on deaf ears. His message will forever be gospel to those who supported him. Legends never die, because they live on in memory. Don’t forget that.

I first discovered Kevin Samuels before his mass popularity. He was focused on men at the time (men's improvement, how to dress well, how to choose and wear cologne, shoes...how men could be the best version of themselves). It was around 2018... I started a journey of self improvement. Bought a new wardrobe. I knew a little bit already about how to dress...but I wanted to know more. There was so much I still didn't know...or needed clarification on. So I found several men's style channels...and Kevin's channel was one of them. He mostly helped in the category of fragrance and shoes. I didn't know much at all about cologne. Now I know what i'm doing in that category (i'm in my late 40's...I didn't know about some things until very late...because I had no confidence in myself. My father died when I was 18...and I still had a lot to absorb from him). From there he started to talk about relationships... and the need for black men & women in particular to be the best versions of themselves, make better choices, and get together to build families and legacies. I have to admit...although I believed in much of the message...I didn't like his delivery, especially in the beginning. I didn't like him at all at first...because of the tone he took with other men. That was just his machismo & confidence coming through. He wasn't a perfect man. So he lost me in the beginning. But over the last 18 months to a year...I noticed a change...and he started to soften his approach a bit (intended or not...i'm not sure). He started to advocate for a broader range of men & women and wanted to see couples get together & stay together. He was the only relationship commentator to push the idea that men & women (particularly women more recently) should be more realistic and connect with their true matches for long-term relationships and for building families. Reality TV & other harmful parts of the culture have everyday women of color believing that most men earn six figures. It's absurd. In reality..this is only about 8 or 9% of all men...and less than 3% of black men in America. The expectations and the delusions are both incredibly high. He helped to shine light on how bad it is...and wanted people to be more realistic. Date and marry those who are more realistically in-line with your level...build a legacy...date for more than just the superficial. Real life is not reality TV. Every man doesn't come with a McMansion and a Bentley. Those shows and music videos don't represent real everyday life for 90% of people. The delusions MUST stop. In the 1920's, 30's (great migration), 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's...our people didn't marry for reality TV values. They married to build families, to build a legacy and to keep the community strong. People got together for real companionship. Now...it's all about bling...and how many fancy cars you have. But you can't build a foundation for community off of that. Coretta Scott getting together with MLK would be a harder sell in today's culture. He was short. Family wasn't rich. But he came from a line of good men. Today...he would be considered "not good enough". And to those black women celebrating. You are the only group of women who collectively loathe their men to this degree & make it a sport. You won't find this level of vitriol from women to men in any other group. I didn't always agree with his approach. But ultimately he wanted to see black men & women do better...wanted them to be the best versions of themselves & believed in marriage & family. Go out and show your work! Gentlemen, make 'Suit Saturday's' a permanent thing (dress sharp and take yourself to a nice restaurant... by yourself if that's your situation at that moment). Push ahead with self improvement. Take care of your health. Ladies....do the same. Start or invest your time and money in existing organizations to teach young people about entrepreneurship, etiquette, dressing up properly, the importance of family, and the importance of giving back.

“Until next time…” Yeah I broke down during his final sign off. RIP Godfather, Kevin Samuels. I’ve followed him since the counting to seven intro days when he had 1000 subs. He taught me so much about fashion, fragrance. Put me on to Dita sunglasses and Magnanni shoes. Got me a lot of compliments from women when I used to be invisible. Taught me how to close sales which helped me start and grow my business. It’s not a celebrity death. I knew this man back when he was on the come up. I saw the success in real time. He will be missed. And my girlfriend is a huge fan is is just as sad as I am. Rest in Paradise.

I've never cried over a celebrity death before. I'm not a very emotional guy and very, very rarely just fully break down like I have been today. I found Kevin when "average at best" happened, and immediately immersed myself in his content. I went back years and watched every single video from start to finish and have rewatched most of them multiple times. For thousands of hours, Kevin's unmatched wisdom has been the background music of my life. I would wake up listening to him, fall asleep listening to him, work out listening to him, play Playstation listening to him... He was just always there in some way, and I told everyone he was the one person outside my own family whose name and reputation I would defend with my life. He not just changed my life but saved it. I was lost and confused, bouncing between unhealthy relationships fueled by unresolved mother trauma and badly addicted to painkillers. I couldn't live with myself, and popped pills day in and day out while fucking random women to make myself feel anything at all - all I knew was spending, sex, drugs and going with the flow. Kevin gave me structure, taught me discipline, and handed over a pre-made framework that I was able to construct a real life around. I'm earning north of 6 figures for the first time this year, have taken the power back in my relationships with women and learned to spot red flags before it's too late. Broken attracts broken, which is what I was. Kevin saved my life through and through and I cannot imagine who or where I'd be today if his videos hadn't popped up on my YT feed one day. Kevin was more than a celebrity KZitemr to me. He was the wise uncle I never had, the brilliant mentor I never found, the man who gave me answers to questions that had haunted me for years prior. He was a person I'd have fought to the death for even though we never met. A principled visionary who spoke the truth as a defense and stood up against impossible odds to make whatever impact he could on our fractured society. His dedication to the cause ultimately cost him his life, but he lived a life of passion, purpose, meaning and impact - most men's deepest fear is to live a meaningless existence and ultimately be forgotten when its over. It's safe to say Kevin will be remembered and honored forever. An essential martyr for the cause, and a one of a kind man whose classical beliefs and simple but brilliant methods put him in a league of his own. "Until next time yall, your Godfather is gone..." 💔

If you were to die today, are you a 100% sure you will go to heaven? If no, here is what the bible says, (1) Romans 3:23 KJV [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Q1. Do you know what Sin is? Sin is anything bad that we have done. Q2. Have you sinned before? Yes or No? (2) Revelation 21:8 KJV [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Because they have sinned, and God does not allow Sin into Heaven, the punishment is burning hell. What is the way to reconcile our peace and relationship with God? Q3. Do you know the Story of Jesus? (3) Romans 5:8 KJV [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus = God who lived up in Heaven, but he came down on earth and became a man like us, he lived for 33.5 years without committing any sin. Then there were certain people who were jealous and therefore framed him on phony charges, and crucified him. Then he was buried and resurrected on the third day; Now he lives in HEAVEN. Q4. Do you know why Jesus went through all this bloody mess for us? A4. As mentioned, our sin is the reason why we can’t go to heaven, and the only thing that can wash away our sin is the Blood of Jesus. (4) Romans 5:9 KJV [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. According to the bible, the only way for us to reconcile with God is through Christ Jesus’s blood, and not through any works that we do or merits we accumulate, such as water baptism, attending church, or any good thing that we do. The following verses clearly support this. (5) Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. (6) 2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV [10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. In order to get saved, repentance of one’s sin is needed to get saved, we need to be sorry, and repent, with conviction, that we are a wretched sinner. (7) Romans 10:9 KJV [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. If you truly do believe in everything you have heard in the gospel, ,I strongly suggest you to make a proclamation to GOD! You can say it to God in less than 15 seconds !Repeat after this simple prayer, to make sure you truly get saved. Remember repeating this prayer doesn't save you, it's you telling God you BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. Ok, here is the prayer : ‘Dear GOD, I know I am a sinner, as I repent, I put my faith, that Jesus is GOD, and that he died, buried and resurrected, so that his blood, can wash away my Sins. I put my faith in that alone to save me, not my good works. In Jesus’s holy name, I pray. Amen! Congratulations ! Now you are a child of God. Download /Buy a KJV bible (I highly suggest getting a hard copy bible , as one day, it will be illegal to buy, own or even have an online version of the bible) and search for youtube channels like Truthunedited, REAL Bible Believers , The Bible Project, AoC Network, Robert Clancy, Spencer Smith to help you grow , study dispensationalism to understand the bible ( How do we reconcile the verses in the New Testament that tell us that we need works to show our faith, and another that tells us that nothing that can take our salvation away? That's why we need to study biblical dispensationalism to rightly divide the word of God.( study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth, 2 Timithy 2:15) (I recommend the dispensationalism video from Genesis to Revelations by Dr. Gene Kim, kzitem.info/news/bejne/qH9qqaibfnipgqA) , join a bible believing church. He was the father, mentor, elder, etc. that a lot of us never had and I really believe that his influence made us better than we would've been without it. The man put in the work for years and it paid off, even if only for a short while. He wasn't perfect, he had flaws just like the rest of us but whether you liked him, hated him, agreed with him or disagreed with him... the fact is that he started a conversation that needed to be had. At the end of the day he always fought for what he believed was best for the black community... his community. There was so much more he could've done, so much more wisdom to pass on. He was really taken from us too soon. I was really hoping it was just a troll until I saw this video and had to accept the truth. But instead of mourning what could've been, we should celebrate the life he had and the accomplishments he made. His record is now solidified. Let it be known that The Godfather has remained undefeated until the very end. Rest in power Kevin, you will be missed.

I was telling my baby brother when we were discussing the news of Mr. Samuels passing that it was disgusting how some people were celebrating the fact that this man lost his life. I told my brother that the hate this man received even in death proved that what he stood for was truth and struck a nerve within the very people he warned us about, and who he taught us as men not to be. This man’s work will last a lifetime, because he inspired so many men’s platforms like this one! In the words of Kevin’s theme song Good Lies: “🎶So tell your good lies, cause I’m fine no matter what.”🎶 I wish I could’ve thanked him personally for his work, his inspiration, and his cause! Peace.

I think of everyone who said they were friends with KS, you were one of the most respectful today. Whether people loved or hated him or whether they agreed with his methodology. His reach was far and wide. I personally believe that he wanted families to stay together and not to be led by feelings. I believe that he advocated for people being realistic about where they are while giving a blueprint and demonstrated that every individual has the power to reinvent themselves for better or worse. As I’ve said many times over, I’ve been fortunate to have positive and impactful relationships with men, that made me understand the value of a male’s presence. I’ve lost a few family members over the last couple years. This is yet another reminder that tomorrow is not promised.. live with intention and don’t take people or time for granted.

It doesn’t feel real. This was one of the most random passings I’ve seen. Kevin Samuels was one of the very few who actually told the truth about our society and demonstrated it on the platform. Even in death as many people celebrate his absence and calling him misogynistic, completely missing the point of his wisdom all because they chose not to do their own research on the guy and follow the sheep herd, he continues to demonstrate how lost our society can be. As a 21 year old young man I can honestly say I’m grateful for the wisdom he shared with the world. May he Rest In Peace 💯
