I'm pretty sure the port you showed(lower left inside pellet stove, behind plate) 1 minute into video, is the exhaust port, not the air intake.

Mine was working fine and then I cleaned it inside out every inch and now it will come on feed pellets ignite have a flame and then go out. I can't keep the flame going and it blows out cold air. Any advice?

Did you clean the pipes? And the air intake? (mine is basically the pipe from the inside). Try also to move the pellets in the feeder (in the hopper and vacuum any ash in the hopper). I am no pro but that’s what usually has been keeping mine from starting sometimes. When it is completely off, unplug it wait a min then plug. Write down if it works and what did you do. This will help us all.

Throw a handful or so of pellets in the flame box before start and it will start faster. Issues with flame hitting glass or burning air in the fire box are exhaust flow related. If there is a T clean out on an exhaust pipe it should be cleaned every 10-15 bags.

These things are a pain to clean. I don't know how your hands aren't all black. When with gloves my hands are a mess. My cat just knocked the plug out and it put it into shutdown mode and I have to start all over. Can't wait until summer 😭

Yes can’t wait for summer - also pellets prices are way too high this year, but I guess still cheaper than oil. No issues cleaning my hands… I learned that it’s better to rub very well with liquid soap before water, instead of starting with water!

Does that really sound that loud like a damn jet while running? Or is the camera just making it sound louder than what it is?
@DIY_Garden

The stove or the vacuum? Both are loud. The camera is close so might not be as high but you eventually get used to the stove running.

The little hole with screw inside beneath the knob- what number should that be on?

The blue thing? I keep it in the middle. Tried to change it maybe it will burn better/ less, but it did not help. If you want to try, turn once and wait 15 minutes before you turn it again (that’s what my manual says)

@@DIY_Garden mine is not blue. It’s just a little hole that has numbers on a circle. Mine was on zero. So today I switched it to number one to see if that might help. This pellet stove, both my pellet stoves are identical and have been giving me fits for several months since I bought this house. They have been a nightmare. I finally looked up all the reviews online and they are horrible.

@@KimOpperman I’ve been on zero since I bought it. Changing to 1 or -1 did not work for me. I like the stove… just that cleaning it is not fun.

@@DIY_Garden I inherited the pellet stoves when I purchased my house. They continue to shut off without rhyme or reason. I cannot get them restarted when I want to. I’m constantly finding myself cleaning them out way beyond what I should have to. I paid my neighbor several times to come over and completely take it apart and put it back together after a thorough cleaning. It’s only supposed to be done once a year. A never ending nightmare.

This is the worst pellet stove I’ve ever owned!!! Always shuts down and auger stops working. Very dissatisfied. Been a cold winter

Oh wow! I hate when I need to turn it off and heat using oil. I Haven’t had issues personally. I’ve been using my stove since winter 2017/18 the only thing I had to replace is the fire pit. It’s can be challenging to turn it on after it runs out of pellets. But after cleaning it no issues.

My stove is awesome. You need to actually try troubleshooting it. You either have bad Pellets, settings incorrect, or pellet stove is too dirty. Bad Pellets will not work in this pellet stove.
