Great idea with the base of the table. I've never seen such a sturdy base. Has it held up in the wind? I love the ideas of the rubber around the screws to prevent rusting.

Thank you! I am not sure what it looks like now. This video was made years ago and I sold the bird table not long after the video.

Phill that is SUCH a great video! Was searching for exactly this kind of how-to vid, as by happy chance I've just adopted a very similar bird table and which is a bit more beaten up than yours was. I can absolutely rescue it now and give it a new lease of life for the birdies. Plus I was wondering how to deal with the rotten base feet and now I know! Thank you!

Excellent job and well presented vid. I especially liked the bottom legs setup and something I'm planning on using in a future project. Thanks for the inspiration.

A nice simple job.. good result.. proper DIY project i.e not using thousands of pounds of shop tools. Although I would ask for some bigger brushes for Christmas ;)

Wouldn't be better to use felt on the roof as well as wood.

Felt would have been good I just didn't have any at the time.

To be honest the amount of ads now is getting silly! it used to be one or two! totally spoils the video !!

It depends on the time of day and I think they show more because it's the month of Christmas.
