Omg turning the hanged one upside down is so genius!!! 🤯 My main obstacle with restructuring this deck is I am really enamoured with the backs and I don't want to trim it, but this definitely has me reconsidering!

Thank you for your kind words! I debated turning it upside down because then I knew the backs wouldn't match, but I plan to do something to remedy that soon! 👀 Do you find you resonate with the structure of the deck, or would you just change the Hanged Man? 🤗

@@VenusinVirtue I'm split evenly with this deck; every card I like I love and every card I don't like I feel like I can't even appreciate the art because I get so distracted by how much I disagree with it. So I've been debating either figuring out a different system to use with the existing titles, or a way to restructure it that felt natural! I'm still not sure which I'll go for, or if I even will keep it! I'm not against tarot decks going their own way, and like some of the cards I really like in this deck, like temperance, I like even though they're not traditional. But, maybe because it's a compilation deck of existing artwork, a lot of the cards feel too literal or careless about their art choice, which I find distracting.

@@poetryalpastor I completely agree! And if I remember correctly, I think I ended up restructuring about a third of the entire deck!! It is definitely time consuming, but in the end I was able to give each card a space in the deck that made sense to me. If, like me, you find you aren't drawn to work with the deck due to the "wrong" cards, I definitely think it's worth a shot tho restructure it! 🤗

wow!! this is incredible! i'm a huge John Bauer fan but have held off on getting this deck because the designations of the cards I've seen just made no sense to me. Your restructuring absolutely does. I am strongly considering get this deck and giving a restructuring, following many of your examples. excellent video ! thank you!!

I just found your channel and subscribed 🙂 LOVE what you did with the deck !!! I can totally see how frustrating it was to deal with the way "they" saw the cards and fit them in your practice ! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️🙂

Thank you so much for subscribing! Some decks that use preexisting art can be so wonderful! Other times it can be restricting. Thank you for watching 🥰

I have this deck and wished it was borderless. I will be restructuring mine as well. Thank you for the inspiration ❤️❤️ What kind of markers did you use on the cards for the names? I see a black color and gold and silver I think. I want to make sure I get the right kind. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️ Beautiful job.🧚♀️

I used various sharpies! I believe I got. Metallic pack that had silver, bronze, and gold, and had a black sharpie lying around :) I hole that helps!

I kinda think that if you have to modify a deck to such an extent then it’s not the deck for you

Modifying this deck is what made it usable for me, to each their own!
