Is there anything to not like about either Donald or that car? Even his corny introduction songs are fun! Thanks Donald for sharing this gem of engineering with us.

So as I've watched Mr. Osborn on these videos, he pretty much grins driving every vehicle! And I certainly don't blame him! Keep making these awesome videos.

Gorgeous, imposing car. An excellent vídeo, by an intelligent, well spoken Car Person. Thank you Mr. Osborne for your calm, relaxed -- and yet knowledgeble comments.

I last saw a Gullwing on the road 30+ years ago on the freeway in Los Angeles. It was candy apple red and in stop and go traffic had the doors open to keep the occupants comfortable!

Another great video. Thank you Donald! I have to admit that I was hoping you'd do a reenactment of the scene in the 1956 movie High Society where Grace Kelly and Frank Sinatra drive down Bellevue Ave in a 190 SL convertible. Not the same car of course, but close sisters. Keep up the good work!

To say a 300 SL is beautiful, doesn't do it justice. It is astounding from every angle. And this is all true without its racing heritage. There is nothing like it in the world.

The 300SL is an amazing machine.........a seven digit price tag for sure..........a lot of performance from an inline 6.........not too many......if any American car's could hang with this in 1955........even a Corvette.......

Little off topic, my first car (in the 70's) was a Benz 1959 190b, such a wonderful car. Had Mercedes rebuild the engine too. There was also the the 190SL.

Hey Don Such a "story book" non fiction story. I wish. To me, this is the first super car. Racing heritage, 10 years after total destruction, Aviation aluminum knowledge, aerodynamics, style. A timeless moment in time The car.

This car needed a really good 1950's set of scallops. Look up the Hooper Mercury. Or Watson style panel painting. At least some top level pin striping. Leaving a cool car like this in plain white is a crime . Great lines but it needs the 50's Kustom Kar touch.
