#Cushman, #Trackster
Last week we figured out what was wrong with the ignition system on my 1973 Cushman Trackster. This week, lets see if we can make a few repairs and get the machine to make some noise.
In the early 1970s, Cushman was a division of the Outboard Marine Corporation (OMC). Cushman made the Trackster from 1970-1975 model years. The Trackster has a fiberglass hull and fully suspended tracks driven by a hydrostatic transmission in the front of the machine. From the factory, the Trackster used an ignition system similar to a higher output outboard motor. My Trackster has been modified with a much simpler automotive style ignition.
Follow along with this series as I get the Trackster operational and hopefully reliable.
Thanks for watching.
