My first car was a 2001 4Runner. For the last 2 years that I had it, I was driving without a speedometer, odometer or working ABS before trading up to a 2017 Tacoma. When everything stopped working, the odometer stopped at around 284,000 miles and I am sure that it could have easily gone well over 100,000 more.
