You first must confront your relationship with fear and only when you respect but appreciate its existence can you discover the true power of your need to push through it and the failures which will follow. Only then can you truly see the complexities of our world and appreciate them by getting up and continuing onward. Its only when you find humility from within that you can truly become free of burden and succeed. I too am in a public position of servitude and truly appreciate my opportunity to see and affect those around me. To believe I know all and deny my failures would be the ultimate disgrace to my fellow man. Whether we accept or refuse them, we are all less than perfect but I find a brilliance of inspiration in all those I encounter day after day and hope to offer something remotely close to better affect those around me. Thank you sir for your truly inspiring words and ability to be humble by being real. It made the message all the more powerful!

I would also like to say thank you. I teach professionalism in radiography and know how difficult it is to admit mistakes when responsible for safety and maintining trust. We cover reflection and 'no blame culture' but I am not sure that it is embraced by the clinical centres where my students train. I am sure when balanced with accountability, it is a recipe for success.
