I have a 1994 Town & Country that I bought with 96,000 miles 3 years ago. It runs so well and still looks all original. I have taken it across the country in recent months for a few road trips. Some people don't like old cars, but parts are cheap and the older engineering is so much more simplistic than what is in production today. A true American family automotive classic.

These vans are really fun! I saved a 95 voyager from the crusher for $200 and love it! Parts are extraordinarily cheap, it’s super easy to work on, and it’s great for hauling people or things around! It’s a great practical second car

They really are great, practical vehicles. The older I get the more I appreciate these types of cars.

I’ve owned many of these caravan from 88 to 95 and I’ve always been pleased with them. Today I own a 91 and a 92 both have just turned over to 300000 km and still running strong. I plan on keeping them for many more years.

Now *THIS* is a true minivan. Very beautiful, but very rare. You don't see too many of these vans anymore. The last time I've seen one of these that was identical to this one was in Northridge, California back in July of 2015. Sadly, it was in real bad shape. The van was pretty beat up and not only was the van sitting for a long period of time, but it also looked like a homeless person lived in it. Plus, it was parked under a big tree. In about a year or two later, the van was gone for obviously reasons. I don't know if this one is still around in 2024, but it's so good to see one of these again.

I remember when Accept Transportation had these Dodge Caravan minivans from 1991-95 and most of the early ones they had were white with red interior but the later ones they had had blue interior.

You know with today's vehicles with dashes that have screens that look glued on and weird lines and shapes ...this dash-albeit simple/functional-is quite refreshing. I would trade my Ford Transit Connect in a heartbeat for a late '80s or early '90s Caravan panel (in good condition of course).

I love to buy that thing but my biggest concern is is these engines don’t run or 300,000 miles they only run up about 100,000 average Before you have to replace the motor and the transmission. Otherwise I would’ve said it’s a really good car.

Your anti-lock brake light is common for this (short-lived) generation but more serious than you think. The genius folk there decided to go with the Bendix 10 brake system, a poorly designed system that eventually required a lifetime warranty on the pump and bladder (no longer available). The Bendix pump piston would quickly become pitted and a cause of most ALB issues. That and their terrible transmissions is valid cause for many to avoid. I picked up a mint '91 for $300 so I'm getting it's worth, just don't overpay for one of these. Also, lot of parts like interior switches are pretty poorly made and could go south. Dirt and detailing are the least of concerns with these.

What is the solution to the braking issue? I just had my Bendix pump fail and now I have a very hard pedal and very little in the way of brakes...

@@mikesgarage37 I'm so sorry, not much you can do but strengthen your breaking foot. Only other answer is to swap in a brake system using common brake booster from a model that's applicable. Iow, a lot of work. How Chrysler Dodge manage to skirt lawsuit on this is amazing.
