Death Valley National Park is known for spectacular views from the valley floor to its high points. Some of the most stunning are currently at Badwater Basin where you can view an ancient lake(Lake Manly) that is temporarily visible to enjoy. Badwater Basin is the lowest point in North America with an elevation of -282 ft. Seeing this temporary lake there is an extremely rare site. It is said to be a once in a lifetime lake! The temporary lake formed as a result of Hurricane Hilary off the California coast in August 2023.
We stayed in a casita at The Oasis(known formerly as The Inn) and played 3 days of golf at the Furnace Creek Golf Course.
