I am having a ball watching the complete series with my 10 year old nephew. He's at the age where he gets the humor and loves the creativity that went into it, such as the openings where the actors noted the name credits in the air, on fresh-laid eggs, or on hotcakes. Hey, watching this show is keeping him away from XBox for the time being!

I know this tele-film took a lot of hits and criticism but I personally enjoyed it and I think it was just nice to see the cast together again especially Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor.

there's a real warmth when they kissed, and that was the point I think -- that as awful as their living circumstances were, Oliver and Lisa were in love and stayed together through everything that came along.

Mr Douglas heart was into having a farm all he did was paint.not build. I still watch the reruns on TV. The little dog she had at the penthouse you never saw it at the farm. The boy still single I guess. With his money they could have had a beautiful house. Love the show and actors today. From the old show.

If you have the whole movie, would you post it? If not, maybe we can do a trade or something. I'm only missing three movies to complete my collection. This is one of them.

Uh why the heck don't you CHECK before commenting? That WAS Tippi Hedren's name in the end credits. Apparently she played a small part in this tv movie (which we only see 5 minutes of here. IMDb.com confirms it, on Hedren's credits it says she played an "Arleen" in this Green Acres-film.

So far something seems missing. The writing? The actors seem the same. PS - Check out Eddie Albert's career sometime. Besides being one of the first people ever in television (he was on the "demo disk" - no kidding) with an extensive career in TV and movies, he had been a circus performer, a spy, and a war hero - all in real life. And he was married to one woman his whole life, with a name even more exotic than Eva's.

Something was missing. They seemed a little strained and the interplay a bit forced. It's hard to capture lightning in a bottle twice, but it's still pleasant to see the Green Acres surviving crew again.

Actually during the original runs they did do several cross-overs. There was one I think it was a Christmas show that had everyone at the Clametts eating Christmas dinner and using the pool sticks to past the pots of food around the "Fancy eating table". There was also a Petticoat Junction episode where Granny appeared. They were one of the first Multi-show universes long before the Arrowverse on CW.

This wasn't funny but the original was. I didn't even watch TV back then and haven't even had commercial TV now since 1990. I caught an episode one evening back in the '60s when my sister was watching and was hooked. It was SO in-your-face stupid I felt like the cast was letting me in on a huge inside joke. It was REALLY funny and the laughs came like machine gun fire. The very first scene I watched was Oliver's dressed to the nines snob of a mother shinnying up a pole to answer the Douglas' outdoors party line phone!
